Steps to Finding the Job You Want
- 1. Become an Equimax Candidate
- Post your summarized résumé on the List of Candidates for up to six months. Be posted in as many of our regions as you like (see regional map below). Interested employers will contact you.
- 2. Receive the List of Jobs
- Equimax subscribers have access to our List of Jobs. Over time, thousands of jobs come through our system. We update our List of Jobs every working day. New jobs are added, and jobs no longer available are removed. On a daily basis, the List of Jobs usually contains 100-200 jobs. As a subscriber, you choose jobs that interest you from the List of Jobs and contact the employers directly. There are no additional fees when you accept a job. During your subscription, you will have continuous access to the changing List of Jobs in one of three ways: (1) get access to the List of Jobs here at our web site, (2) receive mailed or faxed updates sent automatically every two weeks, or (3) receive mailed or faxed updates only when you request them.
- 3. OR Subscription to the List of Jobs Only
- If you are located outside the United States and Canada, wish to keep your job search strictly confidential, or are just investigating the job market, you may wish to subscribe to the List of Jobs without being an Equimax Candidate. The List of Jobs covers 50-75% of the jobs available through Equimax. Receive the initial list and 12 updates, or receive six months of access to the List of Jobs at our web site. (This option is not recommended for domestic job seekers actively looking for work, because 25-50% of the employers using our system just purchase the List of Candidates [where Candidate Listings/summarized resumes appear], but they don't post a job on the List of Jobs. In order to contact that group of employers, you would need to become an Equimax Candidate by posting a Candidate Listing/summarized resume with us.)
- With Equimax lists, you don't have to wade through scores of "dead" listings to find the one you want. The Equimax List of Jobs is proactively managed, unlike lists found at some other web sites. We check with employers regularly to see if their jobs are still open. If they tell us their jobs are filled or if they don't respond when we inquire, we remove their jobs from the active list. No web site has lists that are more actively managed than ours!
